In 2017, my husband Rich and I gave up everything to become missionaries on the border of South Sudan Now that my personal story has come to light, my work is in reforming the Catholic Church from within so that she can better fulfill her global mission of saving souls and serving the poor. My heart is still African-shaped; it will never not be missionary. My mission is simply within the heart of the Church at this time.
